This piece expresses how I feel about the creative process of my work. Typically with my expressive and abstract work, there is no starting plan in mind, I just start painting. Every day I find it more and more obvious that it isn't the artwork that is most important, it is the creative process which holds all the importance. The moments of being in a state of pure creative flow holds an unmatched bliss many have forgotten about. My hope for this piece is that it inspires someone who is stuck in the uncreative worldview, constructed by generations of oppressive cultural engineering, to break free from the exceptions of society and to form a deep connection with their own creativity.
Electric Ladyland front Mural
Electric Ladyland has been my biggest paint project yet! I have been working on painting this piece since May of 2019. The front part of this Mural was started in September 2020.
